The Save-the-Date Card can be mailed six months or more depending on the wedding date, always sending them well before the actual wedding invitations are sent. We recommend that you mail out your Save-the-Date Cards if your wedding overlaps with any other important event such as a holiday weekend or if you’re having a destination wedding 12 months in advance.

• Choose the style, font, paper stock & design of your wedding invitation or select a designer to custom-design your original invitation.
• Choose style, font, paper stock & design for programs, menus, table cards, thank you cards, rehearsal dinner invitations and any other candy-coated paper couture you would like designed for your event or select a designer to custom-design your candy-coated paper couture.
When designing your wedding invitation, always set the RSVP deadline for 2-3 weeks before the wedding day in order to give the caterer the final headcount approximately two weeks before the wedding.
• Hire a calligrapher or a printer if needed

• Create maps & write out directions for your guests to include in invitation
• Approve design & proofs for standard or custom designed invitations and put through your order
• Approve design & proofs for standard or custom designed programs, menus, table cards, thank you cards, rehearsal dinner invitations and any other stationary & put through your order
• Approve the proofs for any professional printing or calligraphy and put through your order

• Start addressing invitation envelopes whether you are hiring a professional calligrapher or using specially made labels

• Weigh & pay postage for the invitations with all extras included in the envelope
• Mail out your invitations & consider having the post office “hand cancel” the invitation rather than processing them through the stamping machine so your candy-coated paper couture doesn’t crumble or smear. Please make a special note not to wait longer than 6 weeks before your wedding date to finish mailing all of your invitations, always mailing out the invitations at least 8 weeks before the wedding date

• Send thank-you cards to all guests for every gift & to wedding party for all of their sugar-filled help!
